Coal producer Semirara Mining Corp., a unit of the DMCI Holdings group, plans to foray into new businesses like power and nickel or copper-gold mining that will provide it a steady revenue stream once its supply contract with its single biggest customer, a state-owned power plant in Batangas province, expires in 2010, company officials said Monday.
